We are seeking a practical and detail-orientated Signage Surveyor to carry out on-site measurements and prepare accurate information/job packages to assist our team with the manufacture and installation of signage. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the combination of an active job along with office work. Key Responsibilities
- Attend sites to measure and document locations for signage installations
- Accurately document dimensions, levels, fixings, clearances, and site conditions in detail
- Identify potential installation issues and propose practical solutions
- Assist with the preparation of clear, accurate sketches for signage fabrication and installation
- Liaise with project managers, designers, production staff, and installers to enable our team to achieve manufacturing and installation outcomes
- Ensure all job information complies with client specifications, building conditions, and relevant standards
- Maintain organised site records, photos, and documentation
- Assist with fabrication supervision and installations when required
Skills & Experience
- Experience in, signage, shopfitting, construction, or a related field
- Strong understanding of on-site measuring techniques
- Ability to produce accurate sketches (hand-drawn is ok or CAD-based)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and plans
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
- Familiarity with signage materials, fixings, and installation methods
- Fabrication experience is an advantage
- Driver’s Licence Required
- EWP ticket an advantage
- Working at Heights tickets and advantage.
- Forklift license an advantage
- Must be able to climb ladders and get onto roof’s safely.
